Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the appropriate use of our Site and our platform. Our goal is to offer our users a service that functions efficiently without interruption. All use of Worksome’s Site and platform must comply with this AUP which Worksome may modify from time to time. Users may not use the platform or services to breach or circumvent any laws, regulations and users explicitly agree to the terms of Worksome’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Prohibited Uses of the Site

You may not conduct any illegal activity or activity that infringes Worksome’s rights, or the rights of other users.

You agree that you will not license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit any portion of the Site. You may not use any automatic device, program, algorithm, or methodology, or similar or equivalent manual process, to access, acquire, copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, display, post, transmit or monitor any portion of the Site or any content, or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site or any content, to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, documents or information through any means not purposely made available through the Site.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Site, or any other systems or networks connected to the Site or to any Worksome server, or to any of the services offered on or through the Site, by hacking, password “mining” or any other means.

You may not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any network connected to the Site, or breach the security or authentication measures on the Site or any network connected to the Site. You may not access, reverse look-up, trace or seek to trace any information on any other user of or visitor to the Site, or any other user, including any account not owned by you or otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site.

You agree that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure of the Site, on Worksome’s systems or networks, or any systems or networks connected to the Site. You agree not to use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any transaction being conducted on the Site, or with any other person’s use of the Site. You may not transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising, or promotional material, including any “junk mail,” “chain letter,” “spam,” or any other similar solicitation.‍

Prohibited Uses of the Platform

While accessing or using the platform, you agree that you will not interfere with the operation of or damage the platform. This includes the use of viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code, flood pings, denial-of-service attacks, packet or IP spoofing, forged routing or electronic mail address information, or similar methods or technology.

You may not attempt to discover or gain access to the source code for the platform or reverse engineer, modify, decrypt, extract, disassemble or decompile the platform, attempt to interfere with the proper working of the platform and, in particular, any attempt to circumvent security, license control or other protection mechanisms, or tamper with, hack into or otherwise disrupt the platform or any associated website, computer system, server, router or any other internet-connected device.

You agree not to misrepresent your identity, transfer your account or username to another party without our consent, or take any action that may undermine our feedback or ratings systems.

You may not use the platform to collect, harvest, transmit, distribute, post or submit any information concerning any other person or entity, including without limitation, photographs of others without their permission, personal contact information, or credit, debit card or account numbers.

You agree that you will not use the platform to send unsolicited communications, advertising, or promotional material to other users.

You agree not to upload, post, e-mail, transmit or otherwise make available through the platform any User Contribution (as defined under our User Contributions Policy) that is unlawful, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability, promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group, is violent or threatening, or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person, or promotes illegal or harmful activities. You also agree not to misrepresent the source of any material contributed to the platform.

Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy

‍Without affecting any other remedies available to us, we reserve the right to disable your access to the Site or platform, disable or terminate user accounts, username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time if, in our opinion, you have violated this policy.
